Privacy Policy

At Kairex we care about your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected when you use the Kairex mobile app (the "App"), how it is used, and what your rights are. By using the App you accept this policy.

01Data we collect

  • Account information: full name and email; if you create your account with email/password, your password (never stored in plain text). If you sign in with Google or Apple, no password is collected — only the name and email verified by that provider are used, and we never have access to your Google/Apple account password.
  • Health and fitness data: if you grant permission, sleep, heart rate, HRV, active calories, steps, weight, respiration and similar data through Apple Health / Health Connect; if you turn on cycle tracking, your menstrual cycle information; blood-test values you enter (e.g. vitamin D, B12); and workout and supplement records you enter in the app.
  • Connected account data: if you connect Strava, activity and training load data.
  • Technical data: device type and operating system version, app crash reports, and server access logs (IP address, request time). No third-party analytics tool is enabled in the App for advertising or user-behavior analytics.

02How we use your data

Your data is used to calculate your readiness score and muscle-group recovery status, to give you personalized supplement and workout suggestions (including the Kairex Brain AI feature), to manage your account, to respond to your support requests and to improve the App. Your data is not sold to third parties for advertising.

03Sharing your data

Your data is shared only with the following recipient groups, and only for the purposes stated:

  • Infrastructure/hosting providers: to run the service and store your data.
  • Crash reporting (Google Firebase Crashlytics): when the App crashes, a technical report (device model, operating system version, error information and a random installation identifier) is sent to Google; the purpose is to fix bugs.
  • AI services: for personalized supplement ranking, your age, goal, fitness level, supplement experience, supplement adherence and, where applicable, blood-test-derived flags (e.g. low vitamin D) are sent to Groq; your name, email or user ID are not sent. When the daily summary (briefing) feature is enabled, your nickname and the averages of your last 7 days of sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, steps and stress may be sent to Anthropic. These suggestions are not medical advice.
  • Sign-in providers: Google or Apple, if you choose to sign in with them.
  • Strava: if you connect it.
  • Competent public authorities: where legally required.

Some of these providers are located outside Türkiye (e.g. in the United States), so your data may be transferred abroad; see the in-app "Privacy Notice" (the KVKK information notice) for details. Your health data is passed to these providers only to the extent described above, is not used for marketing and is not sold.

04Data security

Your authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure Keychain/Keystore, and server-client communication is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Still, no method of transmission or electronic storage over the internet is 100% secure.

05How long we keep your data

Your data is kept while your account is active and for as long as the purposes above require. If you request deletion of your account, your data, apart from what we are legally required to keep, is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time.

06Children's privacy

Kairex is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect data from this age group. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 16, we will delete it.

07Your rights

You have rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and other applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to its processing and to data portability. To exercise them, contact us at destek@kairexapp.app. You can also request deletion of your account and data from the Settings section of the App.

08Special note on health data

The Apple Health / Health Connect integration is entirely optional, and you can turn off access at any time in your device's Settings. In line with Apple's HealthKit usage guidelines, your health data is not used for advertising or marketing and is not shared with third-party advertising networks.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes we will notify you through an in-app notice or by email.
